Loriel’s journey as an entrepreneur and advocate stems from personal experience, witnessing loved ones face unjust incarceration for cannabis-related offenses. Motivated to make a difference, she founded 40 Tons with a mission to bring all 40,000-plus cannabis prisoners home and advocate for restorative justice in the industry. Loriel’s leadership is driven by her determination to create representation for Black women and other people of color. She takes pride in the fact that the 40 Tons brand represents true social equity. A trailblazing advocate for social justice within the cannabis industry, she continues the fight for all system-impacted people.
